I'm sitting here typing this while feeling my leg is like going to pop off any minute now. In the morning till noon I went to Bukit Bintang to take some photographs for my assignment and after that, around 5 or 6 pm proceeded to LRT Bukit Tasik Selatan to wait for a friend of mine to pick me and another friend to Sedaya College.
So what was the occasion? Just some fund-raising small concert/dinner party for Rock Fest. What's Rock Fest? I'll tell about it more later in the future.
Things were slow, the crowd was lazy and totally not into the good music the awesome bands were playing (Bob Marley, Nirvana, Oasis, Glay XD) I was there to help out cooking the hotdogs, fries and nuggets to sell off to the people. It was chaotic as hell since we didn't get the proper cooking utensils so improvise; imagine a cleaver being used as a spatula, knife, spoon and some other things.
Anyway, things got wilder (due to some of J-rock friends were there) after the J-rock band called 'Tenshi' started to play some Glay songs. I can't remember them all but I think one of them was 'Biribiri Crashman'. Me and the guys started pogoing, jumping like hell and screaming our lungs off while the rest of the people stared at us 'cept for a few of the foreign students which in my opinion, totally rocked.
My friend's band turn is up and they started playing some Lenny Kravitz, Oasis and one of their own blues song. When they started playing the Blues song, everyone started to go to the middle and dancing like hell. Same goes for me actually XD. No one gives a fuck if you can dance or not, they just want to join in the fun!
I met someone who reminded me of piratelicker at the dinner party, from her appearance and dressing. We started talking about retro animes, she told me her sister has a full collection of Jem and the Holograms XD Which I think is pretty cool. I've been watching the old Transformers all over again. Meet some other cool people too.
To put it short, this evening was totally awesome. I'm tired like hell and I still have some work to do (at least it's Illustration Class work) but hell, I had a blast.
